The Chord XU1-H is a single-channel UHF wireless microphone system supplied as a compact half-width 1U rack receiver with one handheld transmitter. The receiver is black with a colour TFT display, while the handheld has a silver brushed-metal body and a black metal mesh grille over a dynamic capsule. It uses a true diversity receiver with dual antennas and internal distribution to minimise dropouts, and offers 10 groups of 9 selectable UHF carrier frequencies across the 823-832 and 863-865MHz UK and EU licence-free and PMSE duplex-gap bands. Wireless range reaches up to 60m. The receiver measures 205 x 205 x 44mm and weighs 755g, giving you a tidy radio microphone setup that fits neatly into a rack or onto a desk.

This UHF handheld microphone works well for vocalists, presenters and instructors who need to move freely without a cable. As a cordless microphone for stages, meeting rooms, places of worship and fitness studios, it keeps the sound coming through while you walk, gesture or work the room. The handheld wireless mic is powered by 2 x AA batteries and the receiver runs from the mains, so you can plan your power around long sessions.
