The Chord WG1254 is a complete six string set for acoustic guitars, gauged 12-54. This is a light to medium gauge that works well for players who want a balance of volume, clarity and comfortable playability, whether you are strumming chords or picking individual notes.

Each string uses an 80/20 bronze winding over a stainless steel core. The 80/20 bronze mix, made up of 80 percent copper and 20 percent zinc, gives a bright, clear tone with plenty of top end. The stainless steel core adds strength and helps the strings hold their tuning through regular playing.

Supplied as a full set of six, these strings are a straightforward replacement when your current set has lost its brightness or you want a spare to hand. Bronze strings do dull over time as they pick up dirt and oils from your fingers, so keeping a fresh set ready means you can restring quickly and get back to playing. Wipe them down after each session to help them last a little longer.
