Description

The Chord TAMB10H is a headed tambourine built around a wooden ring, with a natural hide head fitted across the top. It measures 25cm (10") across, giving you a familiar size that sits comfortably in the hand and suits most playing situations. The hide head lets you play it as both a drum and a jingle instrument, so you can add a soft palm tap alongside the usual shake.

The wooden ring holds pairs of metal jingles set into cut-outs around the frame. Shake the tambourine and the jingles ring out clearly; strike the head with your fingers or palm and you get a warmer tone underneath the jingle sound. This combination makes it a versatile choice for percussion sections, worship groups, classrooms and general music making where you want a bit more than a plain jingle ring.

The 25cm size is a common standard for headed tambourines and works well for both adults and older children. It is light enough to hold for longer sessions and simple to play without any prior training, which makes it a sensible pick for schools and community groups as well as gigging musicians. The natural materials give it a traditional look and feel that fits acoustic and folk settings alongside more modern styles.
