We built this stand for anyone who needs to move and store microphone stands in numbers without the usual clutter. The cast metal base is shaped so you can stack up to six stands together, which keeps them tidy in a store cupboard, a van or backstage between sets. It's a straight design with a standard 5/8" thread, so it fits the mic clips and holders you already own.

The base measures 250mm across and gives the stand a low, steady footing on stage or in the studio. Cast iron adds the weight it needs to stay put, and the stand tips the scales at 2.7kg on its own. Height adjusts from 89cm up to 1.58m, so it works for a singer standing at the front or a source placed lower down, such as a guitar amp or a seated player.
