Description
The Chord RACKBAG2U is a padded 19" rack bag built to carry and protect 2U of equipment. Inside sits a sturdy wooden frame, with metal rack strip fitted front and rear so your gear bolts in securely just as it would in a hard case. The padded outer keeps knocks at bay while remaining light enough to carry between jobs.
Front and rear flaps give you access to your equipment and allow air to flow around it during use, which helps keep things cool. Securing straps inside the flaps hold everything in place while you move, and a zipped external pocket gives you somewhere to stow cables, tools or spare fixings. This style of soft case is sometimes called a rack bag or a padded rack case, and it does the same job as a flight case with less bulk.
For transport, the bag comes with a carrying handle and a shoulder strap, so you can move it by hand or over one shoulder. The rack mounting depth is 350mm, giving you room for most standard 2U units such as amplifiers, mixers, wireless receivers and processors. It's a practical choice for engineers, hire firms and mobile setups where weight and quick access matter.
