Our Chord M2BW drum sticks are made from maple and supplied as a matched pair. Maple is a lighter wood than hickory or oak, so these sticks feel quick in the hand and suit players who want speed and precision without a lot of weight. The 2BW size gives you a longer, slightly heavier stick within the maple range, which helps with reach and a fuller sound while keeping the responsive feel that maple is known for.

These sticks use a wood tip, which tends to give a warmer, rounder tone off cymbals and drum heads compared with a nylon tip. The pairing of maple and a wood tip works well for practice, rehearsal and live playing where you want a natural sound and a fast rebound.
