The Chord IM07 is a dynamic microphone built for instruments and vocals. It offers a wide, even frequency response across 40Hz to 15kHz, so it picks up detail clearly without exaggerating any part of the range. The high SPL (sound pressure level) tolerance means it handles loud sources well, making it a sensible choice for percussion and acoustic instruments as well as vocals.

With a cardioid polar pattern, the IM07 focuses on the sound in front of it while rejecting noise from the sides and rear. That helps keep unwanted spill and feedback under control on stage and in the studio. Sensitivity is rated at -74dB (±3dB) and impedance sits at 600 Ohms (±30%), which suits standard mixer and preamp inputs. Connection is via a balanced XLRM output, the industry-standard three-pin connector.

Each IM07 comes supplied in an ABS flight case for storage and transport, along with an XLR to jack lead so you can plug in straight away.
