Description
We made the Chord HTP-295 pouch to give your wireless microphone transmitters a safe home when they are not in use or being carried between jobs. It suits handheld transmitters as well as bodypack transmitters used with neckband or lavalier (lapel) microphones, so one type of storage covers most of the kit in a typical wireless setup.
The pouch uses a zip closure to keep the contents secure, with two material options depending on what you are storing. The handheld version is finished in PU leather, while the bodypack version uses a hardwearing EVA fabric that helps hold its shape and gives a bit of protection against knocks. Both are made to slip into a flight case, gig bag or drawer without taking up much room.
Wireless transmitters are small and easy to misplace, and their controls and connectors can pick up scratches when left loose. Keeping each unit in its own pouch means the transmitter, and any attached lavalier or neckband mic, stays together and ready for the next event. It is a simple, practical way to look after gear that gets moved around a lot, whether you run a hire firm, a house of worship, a theatre or a small venue.
