The Chord GSW1 is a standard string winder made from black plastic, built to take the effort out of restringing your guitar. The cutaway slot fits over your tuning pegs so you can wind strings up to pitch quickly, saving your fingers from the repetitive turning that comes with a fresh set of strings. It is a simple tool that earns its place in any gig bag or case.

As well as speeding up string changes, the GSW1 has a notch on the head designed for lifting bridge pins on acoustic guitars. Bridge pins can be stubborn and awkward to remove by hand, so the notch gives you a gentle way to ease them out without marking the top of your instrument. This makes the winder useful for both electric and acoustic players who look after their own setup.

The winder measures 25 x 55 x 110mm and weighs just 30g, so it takes up next to no room and adds nothing to your kit.
