We built the Chord EPP-CLASSICAL to protect your classical guitar without weighing you down. It's moulded from advanced EPP (expanded polypropylene), a material that's strong enough to guard your instrument while coming in at just a fraction of the weight of a traditional hard case. The whole case tips the scales at 1.9kg, which makes a real difference when you're carrying it across town or between rehearsals.

Inside, we've lined the case with a plush interior and added neck supports to hold your guitar steady in transit. There's a padded insert for smaller guitar body types, so the fit stays snug rather than leaving your instrument to move about. An accessory compartment gives you somewhere to keep spare strings, a tuner or a capo. The case measures 1135 x 470 x 155mm, sized to suit a standard classical body.

For carrying, we've fitted a sturdy handle along with a shoulder strap for when you'd rather keep your hands free. The case closes with spring clips, one of which is lockable for a bit of extra security. It's light enough to sling over your shoulder for a day out, yet built to stand up to the knocks of regular touring. If you want dependable protection without the bulk of a rigid case, this is a sensible choice.
