Description

The Chord DL-50 is a delay pedal for guitar, bass or other instruments. It gives you three controls to shape the effect: Time, Feedback and Level. Between them you can set anything from quick doubling and slap-back sounds through to longer delay times for spacey echo overlays. The wide range of settings makes it a flexible option whether you want subtle thickening or something more atmospheric.

Time adjusts how long the delayed signal takes to repeat, Feedback sets how many repeats you hear, and Level (also marked as Effect Level) controls how loud the delayed signal sits against your dry sound. Turning these together lets you dial in short tape-style echoes or long, drawn-out trails. It suits players who want one straightforward pedal to cover several delay styles without a steep learning curve.

The housing is aluminium with a rubber base to keep it steady on your pedalboard or floor. It measures 115 x 68 x 47mm and weighs 271g, so it takes up little room in your setup. You can run it from the included 9V battery (PP3) or an optional DC adaptor if you prefer mains power. That gives you the choice between quick battery use for practice and adaptor power for longer sessions.

Yes. The DL-50 works with guitar, bass or other instruments, so you can use it across different setups.

How is the pedal powered?

It runs from the included 9V battery (PP3) or an optional DC adaptor, which you would buy separately if you want mains power.

What kind of delay sounds can it produce?

From quick doubling and slap-back effects to longer delay times for spacey echo overlays, depending on how you set the Time and Feedback controls.

Is it built to sit on a pedalboard?

Yes. It has an aluminium housing with a rubber base to keep it stable, and at 115 x 68 x 47mm it fits easily alongside other pedals.
