Description

The Chord CM-50 adds clean sustain to your guitar notes and chords. Turning up the Sustain control squashes down the peaks in your signal and lifts the quieter parts, so notes that are fading out last longer. It gives you a smooth, even response across your playing without adding grit or dirt to the tone.

Alongside Sustain, you get Level and Attack controls. The Level control sets the output so you can match the pedal to the rest of your signal chain, while the Attack control adjusts the amount of picking emphasis. That means you can keep your pick attack sharp and present, or soften it for a rounder feel. It works well for country licks and overlapping arpeggios where you want each note to hold its own.

The CM-50 runs on a 9V battery, with a PP3 included in the box, or an optional DC adaptor (also called a power supply). The housing is aluminium with a rubber base to keep it steady on the floor, and it measures 115 x 68 x 47mm at a weight of 275g. It fits neatly on a pedalboard alongside your other effects, giving you a compact and reliable compressor for stage or studio use.
