Description

The Chord CAL63M is a traditionally styled electric guitar in Surf Blue, built around a familiar single coil layout. It has three single coil pickups, giving you the bright, cutting tones associated with this classic body shape. A 5-way lever selector lets you move between pickup positions, while the two tone controls and single master volume keep things simple and easy to dial in. It is an affordable, versatile guitar that suits players starting out as well as those wanting a straightforward second instrument.

The contoured basswood body is comfortable to hold, and the maple neck is bolted on in the usual way for this style. You get 22 medium frets and a maple fingerboard, with a nut width of 42mm and a scale length of 648mm. The bridge uses a vintage style vibrato system, sometimes called a tremolo (US) or whammy bar, so you can add pitch bends and vibrato as you play. Chrome hardware runs throughout, including 6-a-side closed gear tuning machine heads with chrome buttons.

All woods used in the CAL63M come from sustainable sources. The guitar measures 330 x 995 x 60mm and weighs 3.84kg, making it manageable for longer sessions and easy to move around. Whether you are learning your first chords or want a dependable guitar for practice and small gigs, this model covers a wide range of playing styles without the higher cost of premium instruments. The Surf Blue finish gives it a clean, retro look that pairs well with its classic single coil sound.
