The Chord CAL62 is a single cutaway electric guitar built in a traditional slab body style, finished here in 3 tone sunburst. The solid basswood body is bolted to a maple neck, with a rosewood or maple fingerboard depending on the run. It's a familiar shape that sits comfortably against you, and the gloss finish gives it a clean, tidy look. All the woods used are from sustainable sources.

Two single coil pickups do the work here, wired to a master volume, a tone control and a 3-way lever switch (called a pickup selector in the US). That layout gives you the classic range of sounds from this style of guitar, from bright country twang through to a rougher rock tone.
