Description

The Cherub WST-675 is a multi-mode clip tuner that attaches to your headstock and rotates for the viewing angle you want. It runs from an internal rechargeable LiPo battery, so there are no coin cells to replace. A short charge via USB gives you up to 10 hours of use per charge, with a full charge taking around 2 hours. To keep power in reserve, it switches itself off after 5 minutes of inactivity.

The colour LCD display shows note detection, tuning accuracy, the current mode, A4 pitch, flats and battery status all at once. Five modes cover most stringed instruments: Chromatic, Guitar, Bass, Ukulele and Baritone. Tuning stability is rated to ±1 cent across a range from A0 (27.50Hz) to C8 (4186Hz), and the A4 reference pitch can be set anywhere from 431 to 449Hz to match your ensemble or preference.

Operation is simple. Hold the power/select button at the rear for 2 seconds to switch on, and do the same to switch off. A short press of that button moves through the settings, while the ADJ button alongside it makes the adjustments. The unit measures 49 x 40 x 26mm and weighs just 21g, so it sits neatly on the headstock without adding noticeable weight. It comes in a white finish and gives you accurate, everyday tuning without fuss.
