Description

The Chartwell is a 3-light chandelier with scrolled metalwork arms and hand-worked wire binding, finished in black with ivory candle tubes. Each arm curves outward from a central stem in a traditional candelabra arrangement, with shallow drip trays beneath E14 bulb fittings. The chandelier hangs from a black chain with a 640mm maximum extension, reducing to a 480mm minimum drop when the chain is shortened on installation.

Designed for dining rooms, hallways and bedrooms with moderate ceiling heights, the Chartwell can be fitted as a chain-suspended pendant or converted to a semi-flush ceiling mount by removing the chain entirely. The 430mm diameter suits tables or rooms between 3-4m across, providing ambient light from three candle-style bulbs rather than focused downlight. The wire-bound arms and scrolled metalwork give the fitting a heritage aesthetic that pairs with both traditional and transitional interiors.

The black painted finish covers the metalwork frame and chain, while the ivory-toned candle tubes create contrast against the darker metal. The scrollwork is formed from solid metal rather than stamped sheet, giving the arms weight and substance. At 410mm body height plus chain, the fitting requires 2.4m ceiling height or above when hung at typical dining table clearance (750-850mm above the surface).
