Description

The Cenvanne is a steel wall light with a black outer finish and a gold lining inside its bell-shaped shade, carried on a scissor arm that folds out from a round wall plate. A wire cage guards the open mouth of the shade, giving it the look of an old workshop lamp. It measures 65cm wide, 20cm high and 15.5cm in length, and it takes a single E27 bulb of up to 28W. No bulb comes in the box, so you will need to buy one separately. With an IP20 rating it is made for dry rooms indoors, so it belongs inside the house rather than in a bathroom or outdoors.

We think it suits a bedside wall, a reading corner, a home office desk or a kitchen breakfast bar, anywhere you want light aimed where the task is. The scissor arm lets you draw the shade out towards a chair or a worktop and fold it back neatly against the wall when the space is needed. Because the switch sits on the cord, you can turn it on and off from where you sit, which makes it a sensible choice beside a bed with no switch nearby.
