Description

The Cellar Right is a single-light LED wall light built on an asymmetric matt black metal frame that extends to the right from a circular backplate. A 150mm opal glass globe sits at the end of the horizontal arm, housing a replaceable G4 LED module rated at 5W and 4000K. The cool white output and opal diffusion provide focused task light rather than ambient glow.

Designed for hallways, staircases, reading corners and home offices where directional light is needed, the right-facing orientation allows the light to be positioned beside a door frame, mirror or artwork without blocking wall space on the left. The 135mm projection from the wall keeps the globe clear of flat surfaces while the 195mm overall height sits comfortably between standard UK light switch heights. Multiple Cellar lights can be installed in mirrored pairs using the separately-available left-facing version.

The matt black finish on the tubular frame and circular backplate reduces reflections under daylight and pairs with industrial, contemporary and monochrome interiors. The opal glass is a single-piece blown globe that hides the internal LED module and mounting hardware, giving the fitting a clean floating appearance when viewed from below. At 0.37kg the light mounts to standard plasterboard with appropriate wall anchors.

What does 4000K mean for the light colour?

4000K is a cool white or neutral white colour temperature that produces a crisp, bright light similar to overcast daylight. It is cooler and bluer than the 2700K-3000K warm white used in most living rooms, making it better suited to task lighting in work areas, kitchens and bathrooms rather than ambient lighting in bedrooms or lounges.

Can the LED module be replaced?

Yes. The G4 LED module is replaceable. When the LED reaches end of life or fails, the module can be removed and replaced without needing to rewire or replace the entire fitting.

Is there a left-facing version available?

Yes. Mantra produces a mirrored left-facing version of the Cellar wall light, allowing the lights to be installed in symmetrical pairs either side of a mirror, doorway or headboard. Use the search function to find the left-facing variant in stock at Niori.

Is it dimmable?

No. The fitting is rated as non-dimmable and should be connected to a standard on/off switch circuit rather than a dimmer switch.
