Description

The Cellar Right is a single-light LED wall fitting with a matt black metal frame that extends horizontally to the right, supporting a spherical opal glass globe at the end. The 5W lamp casts warm 3000K light through the opal glass, diffusing it evenly in all directions. The frame consists of two black tubular arms forming a right-angle cross, mounted on a circular black backplate.

Designed for bedside positions, hallway accent lighting, or symmetrical pairing either side of a mirror or headboard, the fitting projects 135mm from the wall and stands 195mm tall. The right-extending configuration is best installed on the left side of a headboard or mirror, with the corresponding left-extending version (available separately) on the right side. The warm 3000K temperature suits residential spaces where ambient evening light is needed without the cooler tone of daylight-spectrum LEDs.

The opal glass globe measures approximately 120mm diameter and sits at the end of the horizontal arm, creating asymmetric visual interest when mounted individually or balanced symmetry when used in pairs. The matt black finish on the metal frame has a low-sheen surface that absorbs light rather than reflecting it, making the fixture sit quietly against dark or mid-tone walls. The LED module inside the globe is replaceable, extending the useful life of the fitting beyond the typical 25,000-30,000 hour LED lifespan.

Frequently Asked

Is the Cellar Right dimmable?

No. The integrated 5W LED module is not compatible with dimmer switches. The light output is fixed at 5W, which provides ambient accent light rather than primary task lighting.

What does 'Right' mean in the product name?

The horizontal arm extends to the right when you face the wall. This version is best installed on the left side of a headboard or mirror, with the corresponding 'Left' version on the right side to create symmetrical balance.

Can the LED module be replaced?

Yes. The LED module inside the opal globe is designed to be replaceable, extending the fitting's useful life beyond the typical LED lifespan of 25,000-30,000 hours.

What wall fixing is needed?

The 195mm-tall circular backplate fixes to the wall with two screws. On solid walls, use wall plugs appropriate to the wall material. On plasterboard, use cavity fixings rated for at least 1kg to accommodate the 0.37kg weight plus the projection leverage.
