Description

The Cellar Left is a single-bulb LED wall light with an opal white glass globe offset to the left of a matt black circular backplate. The integrated 5W LED produces 4000K cool white light through the opal diffuser, creating a bright, crisp illumination without visible glare. The asymmetric left-facing design allows the fitting to be paired with the right-facing version (M7636K/R) to frame doorways, mirrors, bedside positions or artwork.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms, bathrooms (check IP rating), home offices and contemporary living spaces, the fitting mounts directly to a standard wall rose or junction box. The 135mm projection from the wall and 205mm width give the globe enough clearance to sit forward of the backplate without dominating narrow corridors. The opal glass softens the LED output, spreading light laterally along the wall and into the room rather than creating a harsh directional beam.

The matt black finish on the metal frame and backplate minimises reflections and sits comfortably in both monochrome and colour-rich interiors. The globe diameter is approximately 120mm, creating a balanced proportion against the vertical mounting arm. At 0.37kg the fitting is light enough for plasterboard walls with appropriate fixings. The G4 lamp socket accepts a replaceable LED capsule, extending the fitting's service life beyond the initial bulb.

Is the Cellar Left dimmable?

No. The integrated LED is not compatible with dimmer switches. It operates at full 5W output when switched on.

Is there a right-facing version?

Yes. Mantra produces the Cellar Right (M7636K/R) as a mirror-image companion to this left-facing model, allowing pairs to be installed symmetrically on either side of a mirror, doorway or bed.

What colour temperature is 4000K?

4000K is cool white, closer to daylight than the warm yellow glow of traditional bulbs. It produces a crisp, clean light suited to task lighting, bathrooms and modern interiors rather than cosy ambient settings.

Can the bulb be replaced?

Yes. The fitting uses a G4 socket with a replaceable LED capsule. When the integrated LED reaches end of life, a replacement G4 LED can be fitted without replacing the entire wall light.
