Cell 22cm Pedestal Light - Graphite

The Cell is a 22cm pedestal light with a graphite-finished aluminium frame forming a rectangular lantern housing around a central E27 bulb fitting. The frame sits on a square 14.5cm base, giving the fitting a compact footprint for driveways, pathway edges and garden borders where lighting is needed without a tall bollard projection.

Designed for outdoor pathway marking, driveway edges and border definition, the Cell carries an IP54 rating against dust ingress and water spray from any direction. The polycarbonate diffuser panels on all four sides spread light horizontally across paving and planting without directing it upwards into the sky, reducing light pollution while marking the path edge. The 22cm height keeps the light source low to the ground, making it suitable for areas where taller bollards would obstruct sight lines.

The aluminium construction resists corrosion in UK coastal and urban environments, while the graphite powder-coat finish provides a neutral tone that recedes into contemporary paving schemes and modern architectural planting. The E27 fitting accepts standard LED bulbs up to 15W (sold separately), allowing control over colour temperature and brightness depending on whether the application is functional path marking or softer ambient garden lighting.

Product Manual

What bulb does the Cell pedestal light take?

The fitting takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 15W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED between 6-10W and 2700K for pathway and garden border applications.

Is it suitable for coastal locations?

The aluminium construction with powder-coat finish resists corrosion in UK coastal environments. The IP54 rating protects against salt spray and rain from any direction, though periodic cleaning of the polycarbonate panels will maintain clarity in high-salt areas.

How is it installed?

The Cell requires mains voltage wiring (AC 220-240V) to be run to the installation point. It is typically surface-mounted to a paved or concrete base using the fixings detailed in the product manual. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.

Can multiple units be wired in series along a pathway?

Yes. Multiple Cell pedestal lights can be wired in series along a pathway or driveway edge, with cable runs concealed beneath paving or in conduit. Consult the product manual and a qualified electrician for correct wiring configuration.
