Description

The Cedar Point is a 326mm outdoor wall lantern with a pagoda-style roof and seeded glass panels set within a black metal frame. The lantern houses a single E27 bulb (sold separately) behind four seeded glass panels divided by horizontal and vertical bars, creating a craftsman-style grid pattern. The glass texture diffuses the light source while allowing warm illumination to pass through to entrance areas and porches.

Designed for exterior porch lighting, front door surrounds and garage entrances, the Cedar Point carries an IP44 rating protecting it against water splashes from any direction and solid objects above 1mm. The 229mm projection from the wall gives clearance for the lantern body while the black finish suits both traditional cottage exteriors and contemporary dark-framed facades. The lantern mounts to a standard exterior back box with the wall plate concealing the fixings.

The seeded glass panels show a bubbled texture that was historically a by-product of hand-blown glass making but is now replicated intentionally for its light-diffusing properties and period character. The black powdercoat finish on the metal frame resists weathering and UV fade better than painted finishes.
