Cavero Travertine & Walnut Pendant Light - Square Block

The Cavero is a single pendant light pairing a 120mm square block of light beige travertine with a rounded walnut brown wood top section. The stone block sits 170mm tall overall and houses an E27 lamp socket on its underside, projecting light downward through a recessed opening cut into the base of the travertine. The fitting is suspended from a slender braided cord that runs into the top of the wooden cap.

Designed for kitchen islands, breakfast bars, hallways and bedside positions, the Cavero works individually as a focused task light or in a row of two or three above a longer worktop. The compact 120mm footprint allows multiple pendants to be hung 300-400mm apart without crowding, and the downward beam suits surfaces where directed light is needed rather than ambient room fill. The pendant accepts a standard E27 bulb (sold separately) up to the rating noted in the Specification tab.

Travertine is a sedimentary stone with naturally open pores, mineral flecks and tonal banding, so each block shows different surface character. The light beige tone of the Cavero reads as warm cream under tungsten light and cooler stone-grey under daylight. The dark walnut wood section above is turned to a smooth cylindrical profile, giving a clean transition between the textured stone and the suspension cord. The combination of geometric stone block and rounded wood cap keeps the silhouette compact at 120mm wide.

What bulb does the Cavero take?

The pendant uses a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb, fitted into a socket on the underside of the travertine block. Bulbs are sold separately. A warm-white LED between 6-9W and 2700K-3000K pairs well with the beige stone and walnut tones.

Can it be hung in a row above a kitchen island?

Yes. The 120mm-square footprint makes the Cavero well suited to multi-pendant arrangements. Two or three pendants spaced 300-400mm apart work above a typical 1.8-2.4m island. Each fitting requires its own ceiling rose or a multi-port plate.

Why does the stone look different in product photos versus delivery?

Travertine is a natural stone with open pores, mineral inclusions and tonal banding. No two blocks are identical, so the veining and surface character on each Cavero will differ from the photographed example. This is a feature of the material rather than a defect.

How is the travertine cleaned?

Wipe with a dry, soft microfibre cloth to remove dust. For marks, use a barely-damp cloth with plain water. Avoid acidic cleaners, vinegar, citrus-based sprays or chemical polishes, as these can etch the stone surface.
