Cascade Dimmable LED Single Pendant Light - Black

The Cascade is a single LED pendant light built around a narrow 3.5cm diameter aluminium tube in matt black, housing an integrated 6W LED with adjustable colour temperature between 3000K warm white and 4000K neutral white. The pendant extends from a circular ceiling rose on a wire suspension system, with a total drop adjustable from 88.8cm minimum to 368.8cm maximum, allowing the fitting to work in both standard 2.4m ceiling heights and triple-height voids.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands, stairwells and double-height entrance halls, the Cascade provides focused downlight rather than ambient wash. The narrow tube directs light downwards in a controlled beam, making it suitable for task lighting over worktops or accent lighting in architectural voids. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor locations only. The adjustable drop is set during installation by shortening the wire suspension — once fitted, the drop remains fixed unless re-installed.

The matt black aluminium finish provides a non-reflective surface that recedes visually against dark ceilings or contrasts sharply against white. The 3.5cm tube diameter is slim enough to install in multiples without overwhelming smaller rooms — three pendants over a 2m island or five over a 3m dining table. The adjustable colour temperature is controlled via a switch at the ceiling rose, allowing the fitting to be set to warm white for residential dining areas or neutral white for office and commercial applications where task clarity is needed.

The Maytoni Cascade range includes multiple finishes and LED outputs across the same form factor, allowing consistent aesthetic across different rooms where lighting requirements vary. This 6W black version sits at the lower end of the output range, suited to smaller tables and accent applications rather than primary illumination in large spaces.

Product Manual

Is the Cascade dimmable?

Yes, the integrated 6W LED is dimmable. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model — most leading-edge LED dimmers work, but trailing-edge dimmers may cause flicker. Contact us to confirm compatibility before pairing with your existing dimmer.

How is the colour temperature adjusted?

The colour temperature is controlled via a switch at the ceiling rose, allowing you to set the fitting to 3000K warm white or 4000K neutral white. This is set during installation, not via a wall switch — changing between colour temperatures requires accessing the ceiling rose switch.

What ceiling height is needed for the minimum drop?

The minimum 88.8cm drop works in standard 2.4m ceiling heights when the pendant is installed over a table or island. For rooms with lower ceilings or where the pendant hangs in an open circulation area, the drop may feel intrusive unless positioned carefully.

Can multiple Cascade pendants be installed together?

Yes, the narrow 3.5cm diameter makes the Cascade suitable for cluster installations. Three pendants spaced 500-700mm apart over a 2m kitchen island or five over a 3m dining table provides balanced task lighting without visual clutter.
