Description

Made from polypropylene and polycarbonate, our Carmina Lampshade Mini in Grey is built from broad, curved leaves that overlap and twist around a central point. It is a sculptural shade rather than a smooth drum or globe, and the layered leaves catch and soften the light as it passes through them. We chose these lightweight plastics because they hold their shape well and keep the whole piece easy to handle, with this Mini weighing just 0.28kg.

At 22cm tall and 32cm in diameter, this is the smaller of the two sizes we offer in the range, with the Medium being the larger alternative. The compact proportions suit a table lamp base or a floor lamp, and the shade also works as a pendant, so you can hang it as a single fitting or place it where a lower, more contained scale is wanted. It is compatible with E27 fittings and takes a max 15W LED bulb, which is not included. Because it is a plastic shade with a low wattage LED, it stays cool in normal indoor use. Please note it is intended for indoor rooms only and is not rated for outdoor spaces. Assembly takes around 15 minutes, and we provide a short video to guide you through it.

The grey finish keeps the twisting leaf form quiet and grounded, so it reads as texture and shadow rather than bright colour. We think the Mini earns its place in a bedroom, a hallway or a reading corner, wherever you want a soft, patterned pool of light without a large fitting overhead.
