Description

The Carlworth is a table lamp base that takes its shape from classic turned staircase spindles, moulded in a high gloss coloured resin. It is sold as a base, ready for you to add one of our 25cm or 30cm decorative fabric shades, so you can suit it to your room. Standing 380mm tall with a 120mm diameter, it takes a single B22 bayonet bulb up to 10W. A switched B22 brass lamp holder and pale braided fabric flex give it a warm, classic finish.

This base suits living rooms, bedrooms and hallways in country and classic homes, and the turned spindle shape brings a relaxed country-luxe feel. Because you choose the shade separately, it is an easy way to set the colour and mood, whether soft and neutral or brighter and bolder. The switched holder means no nearby wall switch is needed, so it works well on a bedside table, a console or a sideboard where you want a soft, characterful light.

The base is moulded in a high gloss resin and offered in four colours: Pink Clay, Cotswold Green, Marlin Blue and Almond White, each paired with a brass holder and pale braided flex. Wiring is Class 1 earthed and the lamp is rated IP20 for dry indoor use, so keep it away from bathrooms and splashes.
