Description

The Carlworth is a turned resin table lamp shaped after classic staircase spindles, here in a high-gloss marlin blue. It stands 520mm tall with a 250mm shade and weighs 1.4kg, setting a switched B22 brass lamp holder on the moulded base above a pale braided fabric flex. The 25cm Ripple shade is a gathered, pleated design in digitally printed marlin blue faux linen, so the base and shade share one deep, tonal blue. It takes one B22 bulb up to 10W and is compatible with B22 LED lamps.

The taller proportions make it a good choice where you want a little more height, on a sideboard, a hall table or either side of a sofa, and the single, confident colour reads as calm rather than busy. Blue on blue works in traditional and classic rooms, and it holds its own in modern spaces that lean on colour rather than pattern. The switch on the holder means no reaching for the wall, and the 1.5 metre flex leaves room to place it where you want it.

The base is glossy marlin blue resin, the holder brass and switched, and the shade lined in plain fabric so the faux linen glows evenly. Fit a B22 LED lamp to keep it cool and economical. Wipe the resin base with a dry, soft cloth and dust the shade gently, keeping both away from damp.
