Description

Small, plain and quietly finished, this is a wall light for anyone who wants to pick the shade themselves. The satin nickel finish has a soft grey sheen that catches light without glare, and at 11cm across it sits neat and close on the wall. The open lampholder takes an E27 lamp, so the character of the fitting is largely yours to set. There is no switch on the body; it works from the room's own switching. The shade and the lamp are not included; see our lamp shades.

We would put these either side of a bed, one for each reader, with small tapered shades to keep the light low and on the page. They suit a hallway where a pendant would be in the way, a dressing area beside a mirror, or a landing that wants warmth rather than brightness.
