Description

The Capuccina Large is a 560mm black table lamp built around a folded metal cone shade suspended from a curved metal stem on a circular weighted base. An integrated 8.5W LED inside the cone projects 610 lumens of 3000K warm white light downward through the open base of the shade, creating a focused pool of light on the surface below and a softer ambient glow around the lamp itself.

Designed for side tables, nightstands and desk corners where directed reading light is needed without a harsh overhead source, the Capuccina's 60° beam angle casts light in a controlled cone rather than flooding the entire room. The curved stem positions the shade at approximately 45° from vertical, directing the majority of the light output forward and down. The 2.2kg weight keeps the lamp stable on surfaces without needing to be clamped or fixed.

The shade is formed from a single folded piece of metal, creating clean angular edges and a geometric profile. The matt black powder-coated finish absorbs surrounding light rather than reflecting it, allowing the warm LED glow from within the cone to stand out more sharply in darker rooms. The Capuccina works in monochrome interiors, industrial-style bedrooms and contemporary offices where the lamp itself becomes part of the visual composition rather than disappearing into the background.

Is the Capuccina dimmable?

No. The integrated LED operates at a fixed 8.5W output and cannot be dimmed. The lamp is either on or off via the in-line switch on the power cable.

How bright is 610 lumens?

610 lumens is roughly equivalent to a traditional 50-60W incandescent bulb. The 60° beam angle concentrates most of this output into a directed pool below the lamp, making it suitable for reading or task work rather than general room lighting.

What colour is the light?

The integrated LED produces 3000K warm white light, which sits between the warmer yellow tone of traditional tungsten bulbs (2700K) and the cooler daylight white of office lighting (4000K+). It gives a neutral warm glow without the orange cast of very warm LEDs.

Can the shade be repositioned?

No. The shade angle is fixed by the curved stem. The lamp is designed to sit in one orientation, directing light downward and forward from the angled cone.
