Description

The Capuccina is a 6-light semi-flush ceiling light built around six folded black metal shades mounted on adjustable bars extending from a central 150mm ceiling canopy. Each shade is formed from angled planes that create a geometric profile, and the integrated 45W LED inside each shade casts 3000K warm white light outward and downward in a 60° beam. The total output of 3100lm suits rooms of 25-35m² where general ceiling lighting is needed without a deep pendant drop.

Designed for living rooms, dining rooms and open-plan kitchen-dining areas with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3m, the Capuccina provides directional light coverage across a wide area. The 1150mm span positions the six light sources in a radial arrangement, reducing dark corners and giving more even distribution than a single central pendant. The 295mm drop from ceiling to the lowest point of the shades keeps the fitting out of head clearance zones while maintaining presence in the room. The adjustable bars allow the individual shades to be angled during installation to direct light where needed or to avoid beams and architectural features.

The matt black powder-coated finish absorbs ambient daylight, so the fitting presents as a series of dark geometric shapes when off, then reveals the contrast between the black exterior and the warm glow from the LED when lit. The angled planes of each shade create sharp shadow lines and highlight edges, giving the fitting a sculptural character. The metal construction adds 4.5kg weight to the ceiling fixing, so a secure joist or ceiling beam anchor point is required. The non-dimmable LED runs on standard 220-240V mains with no transformer needed.
