Description

The Capitol Hill is a 2-light wall light from Kichler with a symmetrical twin-arm frame in brushed nickel and two upward-facing E14 sockets set in cylindrical sleeves. The arms curve down from a circular backplate before rising to hold the candle-style bulbs, creating a U-shaped profile that projects 156mm from the wall.

Designed for hallways, living rooms and bedroom walls where a blend of decorative accent and functional ambient light is needed, the Capitol Hill pairs a traditional twin-sconce form with a contemporary brushed nickel finish. The upward-facing bulbs cast light onto the ceiling and upper wall, producing indirect ambient glow rather than direct task light. This makes the fitting suitable for corridor navigation lighting, bedroom ambient lighting, or flanking a mirror or artwork where glare needs to be avoided.

The frame is constructed from metal finished in brushed nickel, a mid-tone silver-grey with a soft matte texture that minimises fingerprints and pairs with both cool-toned and warm-toned interiors. At 270mm high and 247mm wide, the fitting sits comfortably on a standard UK hallway wall without dominating the space. Each E14 socket accepts bulbs up to 40W (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose LED, halogen or filament candle bulbs depending on the desired light temperature and energy consumption.
