Description

Smooth black silicone gives our Cannonball Cord Set Single its rounded shape, a 12cm spherical canopy finished in an even matt tone that suits a modern room without drawing the eye away from the bulb itself. This cord set lets the flex run up into the canopy and the excess cord hide inside it, keeping the drop tidy from ceiling to lampholder. At 0.46kg it is light to handle, and with a single lampholder on the end of the cord it gives you one clean point of light to work with.

The textile cord measures 2.5m, or 8'2", which gives us room to hang it at the height a space asks for, whether that sits above a dining table or over a bedside spot. The set takes an E27 socket rated for a bulb up to 15W LED, which we leave for you to choose so you can set the warmth and brightness to your own taste. Maximum load capacity is 2kg, so a lighter shade fitted to the lampholder stays well within what the cord and holder will carry. Between the silicone canopy, the textile cord and the E27 socket and fitting, we have kept the parts count low and the finish consistent throughout.

Assembly takes around a minute, so you can wire it in and have it working the same afternoon you unbox it. The set carries CE marking for indoor use, UKCA and an IP2X rating, which keeps it firmly an indoor fitting rather than anything for damp or covered spaces. We supply it in Black at the Single size, one cord and one holder ready to take your bulb and, if you wish, a shade of your own.
