Description

This industrial floor lamp sets a smoked grey tinted glass shade on an adjustable head, finished in matt black with black chromed knurled details along the joints. The tinted glass tempers the light for a moodier glow and shows off a filament bulb inside. It stands 1580mm tall on a 300mm square base, and the head adjusts so you can angle the light where you want it. It takes a single E27 bulb up to 10W and suits an E27 LED filament lamp.

The machined details and smoked glass give it a strong industrial look that suits a study, a living room or a loft-style space, and it works well as a task light beside a chair or desk. The adjustable head lets you point light at a book or a keyboard, while the tinted shade keeps the glow soft rather than sharp. Its dark palette settles into both modern and more utilitarian rooms without drawing too much attention to itself. At 6.4kg it stands firm on its 300mm base, so the adjustable head holds its angle once you have set it.

The metalwork is matt black paint with black chromed knurled details, and the shade is smoked grey tinted glass. An in-line on/off foot switch on the two metre black fabric cable keeps control within reach. Wipe the glass and metal with a soft, dry cloth, and hold the shade rather than the bulb when you adjust the head.
