Calviro LED Small Ring Alabaster Chandelier - Soft White

The Calviro is a 500mm ring chandelier built from a single torus of natural Spanish alabaster, suspended on four slim black cables from a brushed brass ceiling canopy. An integrated LED runs around the inside of the ring at 3000K, lighting the stone from within so the alabaster itself becomes the diffuser. The ring section measures 80mm thick, giving the form a soft, rounded profile rather than a flat halo.

Designed for smaller dining tables, kitchen islands, bedrooms and entrance halls, the Calviro suits ceiling heights of 2.4m and above. The cable suspension is adjustable on installation, allowing the ring to sit 700-800mm above a dining table or 600-900mm above a kitchen worktop depending on ceiling height. The brushed brass canopy fits standard UK ceiling roses and conceals the four cable terminations and mains feed.

Each alabaster ring is cut and shaped from natural stone, so the veining, tonal variation and translucency differ between individual pieces. When lit, mineral patterns within the stone become visible as soft cloud-like markings rather than a flat white surface. The brushed brass canopy and warm-toned alabaster sit comfortably with both contemporary and traditional interiors, and the dark cables visually recede so the ring appears to float beneath the canopy.

What size room does the 500mm ring suit?

The 500mm diameter is the smaller size in the Calviro range and works well over dining tables up to around 1.4m long, kitchen islands up to 1.2m, bedrooms and entrance halls. For larger dining tables or open-plan kitchens, consider the larger ring sizes in the same family or pair two Calviro rings in line.

Is the Calviro dimmable?

The integrated LED runs at 230V mains and 3000K warm white. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model used, so please contact us before pairing the chandelier with a dimmer to confirm suitability.

Does the alabaster vary between pieces?

Yes. Each ring is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, tonal markings and translucency differ between individual pieces. This is a feature of the natural stone rather than a defect, and it becomes most visible once the LED is switched on.

How is the alabaster cleaned?

Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the stone and do not use household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners.
