Description

The Calice is a 48cm diameter circular pendant light with a flat white metal shade and integrated 16W LED producing 1200 lumens at 3000K. The LED sits inside the shade and casts light downward through a frosted diffuser panel, giving a soft underglow with a 120° beam angle that spreads evenly across a dining table or work surface below.

Designed for dining rooms, kitchen islands and open-plan living areas with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher, the Calice suspends on a sleeved cable adjustable between 450mm minimum and 2000mm maximum drop. This allows it to be set low over a table (typically 700-900mm above the surface) or higher for ambient light in a room with taller ceilings. The shallow profile of the shade — approximately 50mm deep — suits modern interiors where a bulkier pendant would feel heavy.

The white finish is a smooth matt powder coat that reflects minimal glare under daylight and pairs cleanly with white ceilings, grey walls and light timber. The dimmable LED requires a compatible trailing-edge or LED-specific dimmer on the mains circuit, allowing output to be reduced from full 1200lm brightness down to low ambient levels for evening use. At 1.8kg the fitting has enough weight to hang straight on the cable without swaying but remains light enough for standard plasterboard ceiling fixings.
