Calice 48cm Dimmable LED Pendant Light 16W 3000K - Green & White

The Calice is a 48cm diameter pendant light with a conical metal shade finished in matte green on the exterior and white on the interior, housing an integrated 16W LED that outputs 1200 lumens at 3000K warm white. The white inner surface acts as the diffuser, spreading light across a 120° beam angle while the green exterior provides the colour accent visible from room level.

Designed for kitchens, dining tables and breakfast bars where a pendant sits 700-900mm above a worktop or table surface, the Calice works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher. The adjustable cable allows drop heights between 450mm minimum and 2000mm maximum, giving flexibility to position the shade at the right height relative to the furniture beneath. The 48cm diameter is large enough to provide focused task light over a 1.2-1.5m table section or island zone without overwhelming smaller kitchens or dining areas.

The matte green finish sits within the sage, olive and moss spectrum rather than bright or lime green, pairing comfortably with natural timber, cream walls, terracotta and other warm earth tones in contemporary and Scandi-leaning interiors. The cone shape tapers from 48cm at the widest point to approximately 20cm at the suspension tube, directing light downwards while minimising glare when viewed from the side. Dimmer compatibility requires a trailing-edge LED dimmer (sold separately) rather than older resistive models designed for incandescent bulbs.

What dimmer does the Calice need?

The integrated LED requires a trailing-edge or LED-compatible dimmer switch. Older resistive dimmers designed for incandescent bulbs typically cause flickering or fail to dim the LED smoothly. Check the dimmer packaging confirms LED compatibility before pairing.

What height should it hang above a dining table?

For a dining table or kitchen island, position the bottom of the shade 700-800mm above the table surface. This provides task light without glare when seated. The adjustable cable accommodates ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards.
