Description
The Caldrisa is an 860mm circular chandelier built around a brushed brass ring, with vertically arranged panels of natural Spanish alabaster forming a continuous band beneath. Sixteen G9 lamps sit inside the ring, casting light downwards through the alabaster floor and outwards through the panel walls. The fitting suspends from a circular brushed brass canopy on four slender steel cables, holding the 150mm-deep alabaster band level at the chosen drop height.
At 860mm across, the Caldrisa is a large-format chandelier suited to dining tables of 1.6m or longer, double-height entrance halls, open-plan living rooms and stairwell voids where a substantial central fitting is needed. Hung 700-800mm above a dining surface, the band sits in eye-line and lights both the table and the surrounding seated area without dropping into the sightline across the table. The shallow 150mm height keeps the fitting compact in proportion to its diameter, which helps in rooms where ceiling height is generous in plan but moderate in elevation.
Each alabaster panel is cut from solid Spanish stone and softly honed, so veining, tonal banding and areas of denser mineral content vary from panel to panel. When the lamps are off, the band reads as a calm ring of warm white stone against the brass ring above. When lit, the translucency of the alabaster reveals the internal grain of each panel, and the staggered upper and lower edges of the layered panels cast subtle stepped shadows onto the ceiling and floor below.
The brushed brass ring, canopy and panel clips share a single warm metallic tone that pairs with the cream and honey hues running through the alabaster. The chandelier accepts standard G9 capsule lamps up to the rated wattage (sold separately), allowing the colour temperature to be matched to the surrounding scheme.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does the Caldrisa take?
The chandelier takes sixteen G9 capsule lamps, sold separately. Most buyers fit warm-white LED G9s between 2700K and 3000K to complement the cream tones of the alabaster. Check the maximum wattage per lamp on the rating label before fitting bulbs.
What size room suits an 860mm chandelier?
At 860mm across, the Caldrisa suits dining tables of 1.6m or longer, larger entrance halls, open-plan living rooms and stairwell voids. As a guide, the chandelier diameter should be roughly two-thirds the width of a dining table or one-twelfth the diagonal of a square room measured in centimetres.
How is the drop height adjusted?
The chandelier suspends on four steel cables from the brushed brass canopy. The cables can be shortened on installation to set the chandelier at the required drop. For dining use, 700-800mm above the table surface is typical; for a hallway, the lower edge usually sits 2.1m or higher above the floor.
Will the alabaster panels look identical?
No. Each panel is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, tonal banding and translucency vary from one panel to the next. This natural variation is part of the material and visible particularly when the lamps are lit.
