Description

This is an organically shaped ceramic table lamp base with a gloss ivory crackle glaze, decorated with handmade leaf-shaped details. It is the smaller of two sizes at 305mm tall and 185mm in diameter, with a solid feel at 2.5kg. The Caldford is supplied as a base with a switched brass B22 lamp holder and a natural colour fabric cable, ready to take a shade of your choosing.

It suits a living room, bedroom or hallway where you want a soft, sculptural base you can finish your own way. The ivory crackle glaze and leaf detailing keep it gentle and organic, so it sits happily in country, coastal and modern rooms, while the aged brass stem warms the look. Because the shade is chosen separately, you can match it to your interior, and it is designed to pair with one of our 30cm decorative shades. Its smaller scale suits a bedside table, shelf or console where a full-size lamp might feel too large, adding a quiet decorative note to the surface.

The base is glazed ceramic in an ivory crackle finish with handmade leaf details, an aged brass plated stem and a switched brass B22 lamp holder on a 1.5 metre natural fabric cable. It takes one B22 bayonet-fit bulb up to 10W, and as a Class 1 earthed, IP20 indoor fitting it connects to an earthed supply and should be kept away from water. Dust the glazed ceramic with a soft dry cloth and avoid abrasive cleaners on the crackle glaze. Add one of our 30cm shades to complete the look, and note it is also offered in a larger size within the range.
