Description

The Caldford is an organically shaped ceramic table lamp decorated with handmade leaf-shaped details, paired with a handmade 30cm Ikat shade in digitally printed faux silk. The ivory crackle glaze base gives it a soft, natural feel, and it stands 470mm tall with a 300mm shade. It takes a single B22 bayonet bulb up to 10W. A brushed aged brass switched B22 lamp holder, aged brass plated stem and natural fabric cable complete the calm, considered look.

This lamp suits living rooms, hallways and bedrooms where you want a textured, nature-inspired piece with a gentle glow. The leaf detailing and ivory glaze bring an organic softness that works well in modern and relaxed country rooms alike. The switched holder lets you operate it at the lamp, so it is practical as a side-table or bedside light. You can choose a pearl grey or marlin blue Ikat shade to sit with the ivory base, matching it to your soft furnishings.

The base is a handmade ceramic in an ivory crackle glaze with sculpted leaf details, while the tapered shade is gathered and pleated by hand with taped edge detailing and a plain inner lining. Wiring is Class 1 earthed and the lamp is rated IP20 for dry indoor use, so keep it away from bathrooms and splashes. Wipe the glazed base with a soft, just-damp cloth and dry it, and dust the shade with a soft brush. It has a taller companion in the same design for a co-ordinated look. A warm white LED bulb brings out the ivory glaze.
