Description

The Cala is a 52cm cylindrical pendant light from Mantra with an integrated 6W LED and a satin gold finish. The cylinder measures 100mm diameter and houses a single LED module at the base, directing 420 lumens of 3000K warm white light downward through a concealed aperture. The satin gold exterior provides a mid-tone metallic finish that sits between polished and brushed brass.

Designed for installation over kitchen islands, dining tables, bar counters and reception desks where narrow, directed task light is needed without spreading ambient illumination across the room. The adjustable cable drop runs from 530mm minimum to 2550mm maximum, allowing the pendant to hang 600-800mm above a worktop or dining surface in rooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 4m. The slender profile means multiple Cala pendants can be installed in a row without visual clutter.

The cylinder body is constructed from metal with a smooth satin gold coating that reduces reflections compared to polished finishes while retaining a warm metallic tone. The black ceiling rose and cable contrast with the gold tube, giving definition to the suspension system. At 0.6kg the pendant is lightweight enough for installation on standard UK ceiling roses without additional support. The LED is non-dimmable and rated for 3,000-hour operation before luminosity degrades.
