Cala 14 Light LED Bar Pendant Light 84W 3000K - Multicoloured

The Cala is a 14-light LED bar pendant built around a 900mm x 300mm rectangular matt black ceiling plate, suspending fourteen cylindrical pendants in four finishes: sand white, sand black, gold and rust brown. Each cylinder houses an integrated LED delivering 3000K warm white light, with a combined output of 5880lm from 84W total power consumption. The cylinders hang at varying lengths between 540mm and 2500mm, creating a staggered vertical composition.

Designed for double-height entrance halls, open-plan living-dining spaces and commercial foyers with ceiling heights of 3m or above, the Cala provides both ambient and visual presence. The rectangular canopy aligns naturally over long dining tables, kitchen islands or reception desks where the 900mm length can be positioned along the table axis. The varied cylinder lengths mean the fitting works in rooms with ceiling heights from 2.7m up to 5m, with individual cable lengths adjustable during installation to suit the specific space.

The four finishes distribute across the fourteen pendants in a pattern chosen to balance warm and cool tones: sand white and sand black provide neutral anchors, while the gold and rust brown add metallic warmth. The sand finishes are matte-textured aluminium, while the gold and rust brown carry a low-sheen metallic finish. At 9.2kg total weight the fitting requires secure fixing to a joist or ceiling plate rated for the load, and the integrated LEDs are non-dimmable on standard household circuits.

Each cylindrical pendant is approximately 25mm diameter and acts as both light source and diffuser, with the LED positioned inside the tube to cast light downwards and upwards simultaneously. The combined 5880lm output is roughly equivalent to fourteen 40W incandescent bulbs, providing enough light for a 20-30m² space when used as the primary source or supplementing natural light in larger areas.

Is the Cala dimmable?

No. The integrated LEDs are rated for 220-240V mains and are not compatible with standard dimmer switches. The light output is fixed at 5880lm.

What ceiling height is needed?

The minimum drop of 540mm means you need a ceiling height of at least 2.7m to allow comfortable head clearance beneath the lowest pendant. The fitting works best in spaces with ceiling heights of 3m or above, where the staggered lengths create the intended vertical composition.

Can the pendant lengths be adjusted?

Yes. Each of the fourteen pendants hangs on an adjustable cable that can be set between 540mm and 2500mm during installation, allowing the fitting to be tailored to the specific ceiling height and desired visual effect.
