Description

Brooklyn Kids is a modern kids rug with a Scandinavian feel, laid out as a patchwork of soft squares in pink, grey and cream. Some squares are scattered with polka dots, others hold a star or heart, and the shapes are outlined in the pile so they stand out from the squares around them. It is machine made from polypropylene with a smooth pile, so it feels soft and even underfoot for children sitting or playing on it.

We think it suits a nursery, a child's bedroom or a playroom, where the gentle pinks and greys sit happily with white furniture and pale wooden floors. It comes in three sizes. The 60 by 120cm rug is a neat fit beside a bed or in a reading corner, the 80 by 150cm size gives a little more space, and the 120 by 170cm rug makes a proper play area. The muted colours are easy to live with, so it can stay as a child grows.
