Description

Brooklyn is a modern abstract rug in the Ivory / Yellow colourway. Soft washes of grey, cream and gold run down its length like weathered paint on a plastered wall. The colour gathers in broad vertical bands and breaks up towards the edges, so the design reads as texture rather than a fixed motif, and it sits easily with plain floors and neutral rooms. It is machine made from polypropylene with a smooth pile that feels even and comfortable underfoot.

We think it works hardest in a hallway or entrance hall, where its pale ground brightens a space that often lacks daylight. It is sold in two sizes. The 120 by 170cm rug suits a wider hallway, a landing or the space beside a bed. The 160 by 220cm rug is large enough to sit under the front of a sofa and a coffee table in a living room. Both are rectangular, so measure the floor first and allow a clear border of floor around the edges.
