Description

The Brillix is a 50cm column bollard light in powder-coated white metal with an integrated LED light source emitting 3000K warm white light. The rectangular column measures 138.5mm wide by 123mm deep, with a downward-angled head that directs the light beam onto pathways, patio edges and garden borders rather than into eyes at standing height.

Designed for UK residential pathways, driveways, patios and terraces, the Brillix carries an IP54 rating giving protection against dust ingress and water spray from any direction. This makes it suitable for year-round outdoor use in exposed positions subject to rain and garden irrigation. The 50cm height positions the light source low enough to illuminate walkways without creating glare for seated outdoor diners or anyone approaching from mid-distance.

The LED module is factory-fitted and non-replaceable — the unit is designed to last the full LED lifespan before end-of-life replacement. The white powder-coated aluminium finish resists corrosion better than painted mild steel and suits contemporary, minimalist and coastal garden schemes. What does the IP54 rating mean?

The Brillix fixes to hard surfaces (paving, concrete, decking boards over a solid sub-frame) via two base-plate screw points. The mains cable must be routed underground in suitable conduit and connected by a qualified electrician. The fitting is not designed for soft soil or gravel installation without a solid base.
