Description

The Brilliance is a 130x91cm arched overmantle mirror with a black polyurethane frame featuring ribbed moulding and a carved floral crest at the apex. The frame measures 4cm deep and weighs 12.5kg, giving it a substantial presence on the wall without requiring heavy-duty fixings. The arched top follows classical overmantle proportions, with the curve echoing traditional Georgian and Victorian mirror styles.

Designed to sit above a fireplace mantel, the Brilliance also works as a leaner mirror against a wall or as a focal point in entrance halls and dining rooms. The 130cm width suits standard UK fireplace openings of 100-120cm, allowing the mirror to overlap the mantel edges by 5-15cm on each side. The black frame contrasts cleanly against white or light-coloured walls and pairs naturally with black fireplaces, cast iron grates and dark wood mantels.

The polyurethane frame is moulded rather than carved from timber, which keeps the weight down to 12.5kg compared to a solid wood equivalent of the same size.
