Description

The Brillia trimless track bracket is a surface-mount fixing component for Ideal Lux track lighting systems, finished in black thermoplastic. The bracket sits between the track and the ceiling or wall surface, holding the track rail at a 35mm standoff from the mounting surface. The trimless design means the bracket itself sits flush against the surface with minimal visible hardware once the track is clipped into place.

Designed for commercial, retail and residential track lighting installations where the track needs to be surface-mounted rather than recessed, the bracket handles standard Ideal Lux track rail sections and provides a fixing point every 1000-1500mm along the track run depending on load and application. A single screw secures the bracket to the ceiling or wall, and the track rail clips into the top of the bracket without additional fixings.

The 40mm length and 35mm projection give clearance for cable entry behind the track while keeping the overall standoff compact. The black finish matches Ideal Lux black track rail sections and recedes visually against dark ceilings. The thermoplastic construction is lighter than metal equivalents while maintaining structural rigidity under the weight of a loaded track section, and it carries a 5-year warranty from Ideal Lux.

The Brillia trimless bracket is designed for Ideal Lux track rail sections. Confirm compatibility with your specific track model before ordering, as different track profiles may require different bracket types.

How many brackets are needed per metre of track?

For most installations, one bracket every 1000-1500mm along the track run is sufficient. Heavily loaded tracks or ceiling surfaces with less rigidity may benefit from closer spacing at 800-1000mm intervals.

Can the bracket be used on walls as well as ceilings?

Yes. The surface-mount design works on both ceiling and wall applications. Ensure the fixing screw penetrates a solid substrate or use appropriate wall plugs for the surface material.

What fixing is required?

A single screw secures the bracket to the mounting surface. The screw type and size depend on the substrate — typically a 4-5mm screw into a wall plug for plasterboard, or direct into timber joists or ceiling battens.
