Description

The Brillia is a 110mm diameter ceiling-mounted adapter designed to connect track lighting systems to a standard ceiling rose or junction box. Moulded from white plastic with a circular faceplate, the adapter provides the mounting point for single-circuit track rails and conceals the ceiling fixing and electrical connections behind a clean 110mm disc.

Designed for residential and commercial track lighting installations, the Brillia allows track rails to be ceiling-mounted in living rooms, hallways, kitchens, retail spaces and offices where directional spotlighting is needed. The adapter sits flush against the ceiling and the track rail slots into a channel on the underside, creating a secure mechanical and electrical connection. The white finish matches most ceiling tones and pairs with white or neutral track rails.

The adapter carries an IP20 rating, making it suitable for indoor dry locations only. Installation requires connection to mains wiring via the back of the adapter — a qualified electrician should fit the adapter to ensure safe termination of live, neutral and earth conductors. The adapter is compatible with standard single-circuit track systems; multi-circuit track requires a different adapter style.

The Brillia adapter is compatible with standard single-circuit track lighting systems, including Ideal Lux track rails and most other brands using the same connection profile. Multi-circuit track systems require a different adapter. Check the track rail profile before purchasing to ensure compatibility.

Can this be installed on a sloped ceiling?

The adapter is designed for horizontal ceiling mounting. On sloped ceilings, the circular faceplate may not sit flush against the surface, leaving gaps. For angled or vaulted ceilings, a sloped ceiling adapter or angled mounting box is recommended.

Does the adapter need to be wired by an electrician?

Yes. The adapter connects directly to mains wiring (230V live, neutral and earth) at the back of the unit. A qualified electrician should install the adapter to ensure safe termination and compliance with UK wiring regulations.

What is the IP20 rating?

IP20 means the adapter is protected against solid objects larger than 12.5mm (such as fingers) but has no protection against water ingress. It is suitable for dry indoor locations only — not bathrooms, kitchens near sinks, or any outdoor use.
