Description

The Brillia is a 3m adjustable suspension cable kit for pendant lights, supplied without a ceiling rose. The kit includes a steel wire cable, a height-adjustable cable grip mechanism, a ceiling mounting bracket, fixing screws and a cable end cap. The grip allows the pendant drop to be shortened after installation by releasing the cable tension and re-locking at the desired height.

Designed for pendant lights that either come without their own suspension hardware or where an existing pendant's fixed-length cable needs replacing with an adjustable one, the Brillia works with most standard pendant shades and light fittings. The 3m cable length accommodates ceiling heights up to around 2.7m with a typical pendant drop of 600-900mm, or can be used in higher spaces such as voids above staircases where a longer drop is needed. The ceiling bracket mounts to joists or ceiling fixings and the cable feeds through the grip before being threaded through the pendant fitting.

The black cable and fittings blend with industrial, modern and minimalist interiors where visible suspension hardware is part of the design language. The steel cable is 1.5mm diameter and rated for light fittings up to the specified load capacity (see Specification). The kit does not include a ceiling rose or electrical connection box — those must be sourced separately and installed by a qualified electrician. The height adjustment mechanism allows fine-tuning after installation without needing to re-wire or remove the fitting.

No. The Brillia kit contains only the mechanical suspension components: the steel cable, adjustable grip, ceiling bracket and fixings. A separate ceiling rose and electrical connection box are required and must be installed by a qualified electrician.
