Description

The Brillia is a 3-phase track end-left power input connector for Ideal Lux trimless track lighting systems. The connector clips onto the left end of a track run and delivers mains power to the three-phase circuit within the track profile. An integrated on-off switch allows the track to be isolated without accessing the circuit breaker or wall switch, giving local control during lamp changes or maintenance.

Designed for trimless track installations where the track profile sits flush within a recessed ceiling channel, the connector maintains the clean, uninterrupted line of the track system. The white polycarbonate housing matches standard Ideal Lux white track profiles and hides the internal electrical terminals behind a hinged cover plate. The connector is wired directly to mains supply via a cable entry point at the rear.

The 99mm length, 35mm projection and 32mm height make the connector compact enough to fit within standard ceiling voids without needing additional clearance. The IP20 rating limits use to dry interior environments — suitable for retail, office, gallery and residential installations but not suitable for bathrooms, kitchens or outdoor covered spaces where moisture may be present. The connector carries a 5-year warranty from Ideal Lux.

Frequently Asked

What is a trimless track system?

A trimless track system recesses the track profile into a channel cut into the ceiling, so the track sits flush with the ceiling surface rather than surface-mounted below it. This gives a cleaner architectural appearance with minimal visual interruption across the ceiling plane.

Is this suitable for single-phase or three-phase mains supply?

This connector is designed for use with Ideal Lux 3-phase track systems, which distribute three separate circuits within a single track profile. It connects to single-phase mains supply at the input, then distributes power across the three internal track circuits. Track lights can then be assigned to different circuits for independent switching.

Can it be installed in a bathroom or kitchen?

No. The IP20 rating means the connector is not protected against moisture or water ingress. It is suitable only for dry interior environments such as living rooms, bedrooms, offices, retail spaces and galleries.

What does 'end-left' mean?

The connector is designed to clip onto the left-hand end of a track run when viewed from the room. Ideal Lux also produces an 'end-right' variant for installations where the power input needs to enter from the opposite side.
