Description

The Brillia 3-phase track power input is a right-side end cap that connects mains power to a 3-phase track lighting system. The black plastic housing measures 99mm long by 56mm projection by 35mm high, with an integrated on/off rocker switch on the top face and a male connector underneath that slides into the right-hand end of a compatible 3-phase track.

Designed for retail spaces, galleries, offices and residential track lighting installations where the power feed needs to enter from the right side of the track run, the unit sits flush against the ceiling or wall-mounted track and requires a standard UK mains connection to be wired into the rear terminal block. The on/off switch allows the entire track system to be isolated without needing to switch off at the consumer unit or pull a plug.

The IP20 rating confirms protection against solid objects larger than 12.5mm but no water ingress protection, making this suitable for dry indoor environments only. The plastic housing is lightweight at approximately 80g and carries a 5-year warranty from Ideal Lux. The non-dimmable specification means any dimmers in the circuit must be fitted upstream of this power input or integrated into individual track heads rather than controlled at the power input itself.

What track systems is this compatible with?

This power input is designed for Ideal Lux Brillia 3-phase track systems. It will not fit single-circuit track or other manufacturers' 3-phase track without an adapter. Check that your existing track is 3-phase Brillia specification before ordering.

Does it need to be fitted by an electrician?

Yes. This component requires connection to 230V mains supply via the rear terminal block. Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician in compliance with UK wiring regulations (BS 7671).

Can I dim the track lights through this power input?

No. This power input is non-dimmable. If you need dimming, either fit a compatible dimmer upstream in the circuit before the power input, or use dimmable track heads with individual dimming controls.

Is there a left-side version available?
